I love your words as always, Lamar. It occurs to me that coming from the "right hand of the Father" to so identify with humanity he was born of a woman in the midst of extreme poverty and political oppression could be viewed as a kind of disability/other-ability.
Good point. I’ve always thought of the scripture referring to how Jesus emptied himself as another way of thinking about how he willingly surrendered to human limitations which for him would be at least ontologically, disabling.
