1. I had a quick out patient procedure on Friday to address some of my pain issues. It’s called a ganglion impar nerve block. It takes about a week or so to fully kick in.
2. I’ve done all my simulations for my up coming radiation treatments. The treatments are palliative and designed to alleviate the pain I’ve been having in my pelvis/tailbone that is coming from the cancer pushing against the muscle. I won’t be able to start until I cycle off of chemo though. Until then keep me in your prayers as sitting is still quite painful.
3. Speaking of chemo, I started my new chemo treatments on Friday. This treatment is in the form of pills. I take two in the morning and two in the evening. So far nothing of note to report regarding the new medication.
4. I feel good mentally, and emotionally. I still have my normal bouts with fatigue, but it hasn’t stopped me from doing the things I want to do and enjoying my life in the process.
As always keep praying for me, my wife, and our boys. We will do the same for you.
Blessings

You continue to remain in my prayers, Lamar. Yesterday, I did some quick research and found this article about how those of us who are autistic are more susceptible to certain kinds of cancer. Not sure what to do with/about this info yet, as I am just beginning the journey through leukemia.
