Time to put the gloves back on & step back in the ring to fight. My latest scans show that the small spot on my lung has increased in size slightly. While the spot is still incredibly small, the increase in size is enough to identify it as metastatic cancer. With my history it is safer to begin treatment rather than wait to allow the nodule to grow to a size large enough to biopsy.
I am in full agreement with my doctors plans. My last surgery was about four weeks ago and the protocol is to wait at least six weeks so I’ll wait two more weeks before I can start.
Beginning April 20th I’ll be restarting chemotherapy infusions. I’m headed for a longer treatment regimen this time. They will be using different medication than my previous infusions so as not to cause any further nerve damage to my feet.
Needless to say I could use your prayers.
Thanks
